You don't know love!

I enjoyed the plot and was totally cheering for the lovers even when it was impossible. It was so refreshing to read a romance where the female lead is not in her twenties with an absolutely perfect body. Taryn was written as a flawed, real woman who chose to open herself to a new way of being in the world in her forties. I love it even when a fictional Black woman character steps into self love, pleasure and joy. The love and deep, soul touching passion in this book will make you question every relationship you've ever had or attempted cause clearly it was a failure in comparison. I enjoyed listening and have already recommended it to my friends.

Sensual love story

Although the monotone of the speaker made me feel like the book was about to be boring.. It was definitely Not! The characters were infectious... Listen to this journey of love and chance..

Great Read

I was skeptical about the book, but glad I listened to it. I loved how Etienne and Taryn got together. Kari Taryn's daughter was a spoiled brat. I liked the fact that Etienne was determined to get Taryn. Taryn was frustrating. I'm glad for true love and Etienne and Taryn found it.

I’m moving to France!!!

I’m moving immediately and walking off the plane looking for Ettienne! The love story and moments were so sweet and beautiful. The reason for their return love isn’t what I’d prefer but it’s still a lovely and well written story.
