This book was different. Full of short stories that were graphic at times and and intriguing at other times. They have a variety of different types of characters which makes it even better because each one will be different, If you enjoy short stories then you should read these. The narrator does a great job with all the different voices which I love. A great read.

A great set of stories

Chronicles of Maradoum Volume 2: A Fantasy Anthology, my fourth read from author Ross C. Hughes, who I'd never read before March of last year. Another anthology of fantasy short stories, even better than Volume 1. 168 pages/6-hours 18-minutes, but reads longer due to the detail & development of the story. In re-reading this audiobook A.J. Carter's narration added to a good book's enjoyment. I look forward to reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018)

Ross Hughes does it again, with eleven more awesome tales. I now have volumes 1, 2 and 3 in audio and several of the kindle version stories. If you are into some above average fantasy stories, Ross Hughes is your guy, you will not be disappointed. A.J. Carter also does an okay job of narrating. I received this audiobook for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Fantastic Fantasy

I highly recommend this collection of short stories which is even better than the first collection. The world building is amazing. These tales are graphic, gruesome and confronting. A world of magic. Stories of retribution, of hope and brutality. I love short stories and these are the perfect length, each with a sting in the tail. Of this collection, Dragon Rider and Of Wizards and Monks are perhaps my favourites, but I loved all the stories. Blood Sacrifice is about a pacifist pushed too far.

The narration is great. I loved A.J. Carter's interpretation, nicely paced and pitched.
