Honest. Brave. Raw.
Clearly a deeply personal journey, and the unfolding of the story I didn't expect. The turn of phrase and my own getting lost in the experience is everything I love about the written and spoken word. This is definitely a timely story that at first feels controversial and rebellious but is clearly a lesson in learning to decide (and decipher) what is true for ourselves.

I Feel Seen!!!
I feel seen. It has been over 30 years and thanks to Vanessa’s courage and clarity I feel seen. Though my story is different . In many ways I saw myself in Vanessa’s journey. In her emotional journey I saw my own. Though through Vanessa’s lens, I was able to see my journey in new light and I am lighter today because of it. There are more of us than you think.
