After spending many years in artificial hypersleep, a handful of survivors of the exploration vessel Supernova awaken to find their ship torn to shreds. They are unsure of what happened in space or how they crashed into an uncharted planet. Upon exploration of the new world, they soon realize their destination: the Triassic, the first chapter of the Mesozoic Era. A plan is formulated to escape this terrifying landscape plagued with dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts.

The survivors soon discover that there may be an even larger threat looming under the trees than just the dinosaurs, threatening to cut their mission short and trap them all forever in the primitive depths of the Triassic.

I plwas drawn to this book because the cover featured an Allosaurus—my favorite dinosaur. I was a little puzzled, though, since Allosauruses are from the Cretaceous period. A Herrerasaurus might have been a more fitting choice, especially since it’s the main adversary in the story.

That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The plot is engaging, and the characters are so well written you can’t help but like them.

loved it!! but needs a different cover

My first book read on line. Interesting story. Pretty grim and bloody, but determined characters to live.

I’m sorry, I just don’t like anything but the setting. The characters, the plot, the unneeded human element

I’m sorry but no
