Cara Bastone is a full-time writer living and writing in Brooklyn with her husband, son, and an almost-goldendoodle. Her goal with her work is to find the swoon in ordinary love stories. She’s been a fan of the romance genre since she found a grocery bag filled with her grandmother’s old Harlequin Romances when she was in high school. She’s a fangirl for pretzel sticks, long walks through Prospect Park, and love stories featuring men who aren’t crippled by their own masculinity.

Chris Brinkley is an experienced narrator, voice-over artist, NCAA Division I broadcaster, radio personality, and emcee. He is known as the voice of Penny Reid’s Winston Brothers Series, narrating and voicing all six brothers in the popular audiobook collection. Brinkley also narrates Reid’s Handcrafted Mystery Series and the Smartypants Romance Green Valley Chronicles. Early on I was annoyed that the woman kept referring to ‘what happened’ and how when he found out who her brother was it would be over. But the banter was so fun, I was able to hold out until she actually got around to divulging the big secret.

Very cute story about two strangers who know each other getting to know each other on a different level and creating a solid friendship along the way.

I finished it in a day! I couldn’t “put it down”. The conversation was so natural, the experiences were believable; for a bit, I’d get so lost, I’d feel like I was spying on someone’s actual conversation! Then other times, I’d feel like I was one of them!
Definitely need way more books like this! I’ve never loved an audible so much!!!! PLEASE MAKE MORE! I loved the interaction and how it was like listening to a radio show from back in the day!

Wasn't expecting much, but holy cow, this Audiobook was awesome. I grinned and laughed and got that happy toe curling feeling a few times. I loooooved both main characters and voice actors. Brilliant. Absolutely worth your time!

Cara Bastone is definitely an auto buy now. Call me maybe was perfect and this one is also perfect? How does she do this? The ending was kinda fast paced, but I loved it anyway. The narrators are PERFECT.
