I swear I didn’t mean to flirt with the world-famous Brayden Clarke - especially not right in the middle of an interview for a job. It was a slip - or, perhaps, a gut reaction to his smoldering eyes and deep, sexy voice.

To my total disbelief, they give me the assignment. My task is simple: advise Brayden and his band on how to communicate with their fans. Easy-peasy. Or so I thought...

I can handle the job, but the sexy lead singer who's intent on getting under my skin might be too hot to resist. But our lives are too different. His life is under constant scrutiny. I thrive on freedom and spontaneity. I like exploring the streets of New York and meeting up with my siblings without needing security detail. But when we’re together, all our differences fade, and I can’t get enough of this man. And he won’t quit until he makes me his.

I read a review for another one of Layla Hagen’s books and the reviewer said it was a “low angst “ series. That is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a story, or better yet, a series, with characters who captured me but didn’t require so much turmoil and gut wrenching scenarios. I need some light summer heart happy reads, heavy on the HEA, and that is exactly what I have gotten from every book by LH so far. This was such a sweet story. Starting book two in the series tomorrow. Maxwell Brothers are my favorite but this was just as good.

Exactly what I was hoping for from Layla Hagen ❤️

I think this book was a good start for the “Gallagher” series!!! It’s was 1 of a tamer “rock” book that I’ve listened to... but still worth the credit 😉

Good start to a new series 🙃

This performance by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell is amazing as expected. This was a super cute story, what happens when someone non famous ends up dating someone who’s famous and all the trials in between trying to navigate this type of relationship. Even though this is fuel perspective, Maxine’s “male” voice is always so sultry and on point your forget it’s her narrating the guys parts too! Great listen with a good story!!

Rockstar romance!

Some things were repetitive and got a little annoying. I rolled my eyes a bit at some of the things happening. But it wasn’t awful. If that even makes sense.

It wasn’t the best but wasn’t awful.

I do love me a good rockstar romance and this was just the perfect combination of steamy and sweet that I needed. Layla is a new to me author but I really enjoyed her storytelling and the simplicity of an uncomplicated and nontoxic romance, which lets face it, is not my usual reading style😂 I will eat up any audiobook narrated by Maxine and Joe together but I forget how much I really enjoy their dual narration style, and this one was a top tier performance👌🏼Say You're Mine is the first book in The Gallaghers series and I'm already excited to jump into book two. Go give this a listen🖤

Simply and Perfect
