Publisher's summary

Quinton Aldren thought he could leave his past behind him.... He was wrong.

First came the development of a Personality Matrix Construct - PMC, transferring human consciousness into a machine. It changed the galaxy and the way wars were fought. Then something went wrong with PMCs and the Federation Wars toppled the galactic order. PMCs became a menace to be hunted and exterminated.

Long after the Federation Wars, the galaxy limps on. Spacers carve out an existence upon the bones of the old worlds, but things are about to change...something has begun broadcasting signals to reactivate PMCs that were stored in secret.

Quinton Aldren is a PMC. His consciousness was uploaded and stored over a century ago, before the Federation Wars. All Quinton wants is to leave his past behind, but the broadcasts keep occurring. More PMCs are coming online, and not all of them are entirely stable. Federation War machines are on the hunt for them, and they don’t care who gets in their way.

Acheron Salvation is a fast-paced science fiction novel in the classic space opera and military sci-fi traditions, by Amazon best-selling author Ken Lozito.

Excellent Storyline

Ken Lozito continues to be my favorite author, the likes of David Weber, BV Larson and the greatest of all, Isaac Asimov.

The concept behind Archeron is simple, the characters are multi dimensional and drive the story forward better than most authors have the ability to do.

The fate of the Galaxy is at stake and a small band of characters face the challenge head on, accepting their individual flaws, yet being stronger as a unit than each individual.

The challenges are massive, as all galactic challenges should be. Together they have a plan and the confidence that they’ll achieve because they work together and as individuals.

Can’t wait to read the rest of the story as it develops.

Really good

It’s a great original story. The novella available would make a great way to start the series. I listed to it right after book 1

Good communication

I appreciate the ability to tell such fantastic stories with well rounded characters without foul four letter words

4+ for Interesting Premise & World Building.

It is difficult find a Space Opera that doesn’t insult your intelligence. This book comes close.
Man ‘wakes up’ in an artificial body - interesting. Budding romance between robot & flesh/blood woman - Ugh. The ‘chuckling’ banter gets old. It felt like ‘filler’ - funny once, not 10x. I don’t think I’ll go for book 3 - Sorry.

This was not as good as the first one

Don’t really think the author put his soul in to this book. It was messy and didn’t keep the thrill the firs book gave me. I wanted to like it but except for the last 30min of the book it was just boring and confusing. Another thing was that the narrow took a long time to get into the book and he didn’t get the characters as good and it was really hard to come tru the first half of the book because of this. But he got the characters life in the end of the book.
I still think that Ken should write a continuing of the prequel of this story. That has a lot more potential then this series.
