Very good information from Mari Silva. Alike most of her books, this one is very good. it complements "Orishas". Describes all the perfect orishas with lots of info on them

This audible has an important role - it demonstrates the multiplicity and richness of the Orishas, powerful voodoo queens, and Goddesses. It was interesting to listen, providing many fine details about the characters explored. It looks at historical and mythic aspects of the characters, the uncomfortable realities of slavery, women's issues, and the power of magic and faith to trying times.
