This book is an improbable fantasy that was built into a hopeful modern fairy tale. Jai is sweet with a bit of sass, and the king is ... a king.

I tuned in to this story with intent of reading a modern fairy tale with interesting characters, and that is exactly what I got with the bonus of a good narration.
