Great Fae Adventure

Tlingit main character!! TLINGIT MAIN CHARACTER!!
Well, half Tlingit, half fae. I loved all the references to Alaska. It was obviously written by someone that knows Alaska well.

It feels like ACOTAR without the TERF-y bits.

Competent MC, a worthy love interest (it's friends to enemies to allies to lovers, slow burn), excellent villain, all the things that make a good story. I read the whole series in about 4 days. I couldn't put it down. It scratched the high fantasy itch. The romance plays a part but isn't the whole story.

It has the easy reading of YA, but with the spice (in book 3) and themes of adult fantasy. The characters are all in their mid-20s and act like it, if not older. No idiot plots here!

Absolutely absorbing!

It has been awhile since a fantasy novel has pulled me and and wouldn’t let go! Enjoyed every minute of it. Excellent narration.

Good listen

Very much enjoyed this audible book. The voice actor was easy to understand and the story is very consuming. I give all stars. Can’t wait to listen to the second volume!

Action packed story

This was a great read, there was action, drama, very tiny amount of romance, and mystery. I really like this premise, it is different. I like Kallik, she is smart, strong, and keeps getting up everytime she is knocked down. I love her best friend Cinth. Faolan is mysterious, strong, rude at times, protective, and acts mean to hide his true feelings. We get to meet many characters, some quite imaginative. I love reading about the different magic characters have. That ending was crazy!!!!!!!! And sad 🙁 I can’t wait to read the next one. The narrator was good.

Where is the next one??? Why must they torture us with not having the next available!! lol I loved it and I rarely write reviews but hopefully this will spurr on the writing!!
