Excellent narration!!

If you loved the immortal curse series of this author you will love this! So many levels of feelings, relationships, anger, torment, and spice!! I always hesitate starting a new series, but I feel head first into this one after starting!

Non-stop action, mystery and more ...

Whoa, these authors can really make 9-10 hours feel like about 5 minutes. WHERE did my entire evening go? I just devoured this book in one sitting and now I’m dying for Second Offense.

Obviously I just HAD to read on after reading Noir Reformatory: The Beginning as it was beyond addictive. This one starts out right in the thick of the dark, eventful prison setting and wastes no time whatsoever sucking in the reader, keeping on the edge of their seat for the entire time and then leaving them needing more in a brutal cliffie.

Expertly done, of course, by the cliffhanger queens themselves.

There are several mysteries afoot and it often seems like more questions arise than answers … the excitement is non-stop and neither is the action (of various types, if you get my drift 🌶️).

I cannot recommend this enough. Do read this series in order though.

Even if you’ve read a print or digital copy, you may want to listen to this one as well. It is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Not bad

I really enjoyed the 1st book in this series, kept me entertained throughout the whole story. I liked this one, but it was a tad slower than the first and took some time to get into. It’s normally not like that will Lexi’s books. This story focuses on Leala, ulrich and the other guy who’s name I forgot. Leala finds herself in the prison for no reason and ends up locked in her jail with the two other men, surprise surprise..they are all compatible mates. There wasn’t as much heat with these three as with Raven and her men, but I’m curious to see where the story goes after that ending.

Noir Reformatory First Offense by Lexi C Foss & J. R. Thorn is Book 1 in the Paranormal Prison Series. Amazing follow up to the prequel. The descriptions of the world gets better and better. Loved the characters Layla, Novik and Auroic. This is fast paced with lots of twists and turns and what a cliffhanger ending. Need to know what happens in the next book in series. Cassandra Myles, Gregory Salinas, Kate Williams, Lisa Zimmerman. These four narrators work well together and brought the story to live. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary review.

So good!!! These cliffhangers kill Me! (In a good way!). Kind of series I love! Can’t wait to keep listening and find out what comes next!
