It was a sweet story of adventure and friendship and it is a great family read!

The whole family loved this one! mischievious orphans, goofy fantastical animals, loveable Snergs, and a terrible witch kept the story cavorting right along for the kids, and wonderfully clever language kept the adults chuckling. Stephen Fry read this story award-winningly, the total package was truly charming.

I loved it. Reminiscent of Phantom Tollbooth meets whimsy. Stephen Fry is a genius reader.
