Can't Recommend this Series Enough

Original Review (scroll down for my updated review)-
This is an interesting story that is easy to get into. I've felt a number of emotions while reading it, and I enjoy that the story isn't predictable - You never know what way things are going to go.

At no point was the narration distracting. The narration was evenly paced, and delivered well. I enjoy that there are more books to this series, and that the narrators do the entire series.

I've left my review general because I feel like these points apply towards the whole series. The first books are about the protagonist, Leslie, and her relationship with a different "supernatural" - Trial by Moon, is about her relationship with Ben, a werewolf. The next book, Trial by Thrall, is about Leslie's relationship with Tristan, a Fae. The third book, Trial by Blood, is about her relationship with Myca, a vampire. There is a fourth book to the series, Trial by Heart, which I cannot comment on yet, and I have avoided reading any spoilers.

Updated Review (After reading the series in its entirety)-

I had forgotten what it felt like to feel so strongly from a work of fiction, and this series helped me feel again.

For that, I cannot recommend the series enough. I think that this is easy to get into regardless of your history with other vampire or werewolf books. Lizzy Ford does a good job of bringing a unique perspective to this genre, and Lillian Yves and Vincent Lee Grayson do a great job of bringing her characters to life.

I read this series more for the story than for the sex scenes - Other reviews have said that the sex scenes were either too much, or not enough. Personally? I didn't feel like they detracted from the story. I think that the sex scenes did a good job of illustrating the passion and emotional complexities that Leslie faced during her trials.

I enjoy the author's sense of humor. There were scenes that had me cracking up.

I genuinely could not put the books down. I felt anticipation, I felt happiness, I felt sadness, I felt goosebumps again.

Highly recommend.

HOT!

I was so enthralled by this story, I listened to it in one sitting. The plot was intriguing, the story was captivating, and the sex was hot! I can't wait for the second book to come out!

Just amazing!

Wow! What an incredible book! I could not stop listening! The storyline was so interesting. Quite steamy so be prepared for that! 🥵 The narrators did a phenomenal job of portraying these characters. I was blown away by the intensity they brought to life through their narration. So good!! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Awesome start

This book was so good it made me purchase the rest of the series, and this is rare for me. The rest of the series isn't in audio yet!!! I became emotionally invested in the characters and storyline. I wanted the outcome to be favorable . I can't wait to breeze through the rest of them to the end. This is a new to me author I will definitely be following and reading. Thanks for opening up new worlds to read. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did an amazing job bringing the characters and story to life.
