I just love mafia romance

I’ve been desperate for Tijan to write more mafia romance, and here we are. Finally. Canary it is. Note though. This is not a pretty mafia romance. It’s very much a gritty mafia drama with a side of romance. I flipping loved it. I listened to the audio version, and CJ Bloom was superb as ‘Ashley’. Then we have Raiz, our mafia frontman, narrated by Connor Crais (a new to me narrator), who was so perfect in the role, he made me believe he was actual mafia. The story of course had a few twists and turns, lots of action (and violence), betrayal and romance. Ashley was the perfect girl with attitude and I loved the fact that she was straight up and honest about herself. No holds barred. I was hooked. Loved it.

Give me more!!

I am beyond thrilled that I found Tijan! This book was awesome! So much story and the best escape to listen too! I need more! I love Ash, and Reyes! The rest are great too but they capture the heart! Mafia stories take note, Tijan has won the award for best from me! Read, listen or do both because you will not be let down!

Too long

I thought the book was too long. Bringing in the Mafia and the Cartels stretched it out. I did like Ash, Brooke, Canary, exsetra she had a good hard story to tell. I'm glad she stayed to help others. Raze helped in his own way of life because I think he truly loved her.
