Jace Blackbriar just wants to become a blacksmith and live a comfortable life in his village. His family never wanted him to become an adventurer...and he isn't going to break that promise.

Jace wants to learn to make goods that pay well so that he can support himself, and maybe even send some money to his family. His goal is to gain the blacksmith class and start his own forge. But then, one of the other apprentices decides he needs to be taught a lesson.

When a rare and valuable magic item is destroyed, Jace is left with a racial transformation and cast into the wilds without guidance. Now, he has to figure out how to survive in a kill-or-be-killed world as a monster race that most goodly folk will want dead.

Accidental Incubus contains explicit elements and some adult content.

Decent story but the author fell victim to pretty much ever common mistake you can make in a litrpg. worst was repeating his characters stats. every so often is one thing but it was getting annoying and near the end he repeated them almost right on top of each other twice over at which point i fast forwarded several times. these little problems weren't a deal breaker, I'd like to hear the next one but it just got to the point of rubbing a little too much on my nerves. overall story was decent though and the sex scenes were well done both by the writer and narrator.

Decent but...

like holy shit this guy feels like he has no idea what his own mouth is! One that gets me bad is when he says Arr-CHArr-REE instead of archery like a normal human. Everything is delived slow and with an off rhythm cadence. It is mostly solved by turning up to 1.5-8 times speed.

credit where it is due. there are no lip noises or bad breathing into the mic problems.

the narrator is really bad

Great book and liked it up until the last minute. I have a special hate for cliffhangers. It's lazy and any writer worth their salt would find a way to entice readers to continue their series without a cliffhanger. It lost two stars just for that.

Josh did a great job narrating.

sigh

I really enjoyed the works and the characters in this book and the twist and Cliff hanger did come as a bit of surprise at the end thou I did have an idea right before it happened

A good start to a series
