Leon Searcy was an All-American at Miami who won three national championship titles with the Hurricanes. He was a first round draft pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and played in Super Bowl XXX. He was also selected as one of the Top 25 Jacksonville Jaguars players of all time.

Hear Leon's stories about a life of luxury and glory as the NFL's highest paid offensive lineman, and the series of choices and circumstances which ended with Leon's retirement from the game of football broke and alone. In the fourth down of his life, how did Leon find redemption?

This book is a must listen for anyone who is a sports fan, has thought about playing professional sports, or just wants to hear the story of one man's incredible gridiron journey full of highs and lows.

I bought this after seeing Leon in ESPN’s 30 for 30. It was eye-opening to see how everyone else around him changed when the money came and when it stopped, from his agent, to his friends, even his parents. It was a great story and I’m glad that Leon has since recovered and is doing better.

Great story that is likely common among athletes
