But once she turns 21, she'll fully turn into a vampire, and Solon hopes he'll be there to guide her, opening her eyes to her deepest hunger...both sexual and otherwise.

But this turning can't be kept a secret. Soon both slayers and vampires are hunting Lenore, with only Solon and his unpredictable motley crew of vampires to save her.

Story was good/ narrator sucked

I didn’t like the narrator’s voice, she was too slow for me. I don’t think I’ll listen to the second book because it’s the same narrator.

If you can get past the narrator, then it’s a good story.

The storyline was entertaining and fast paced but my goodness the narrators mush mouth and reading statements with inflections of it being a question was distracting and tough to ignore.

The fact that I am not the target audience but became invested in the character says another for the writer.

First person narratives are not my favorite. I would have liked to know why Lenora was loved... what was loveable about her?

While I did really enjoy the story, I think the narrator’s voice was a little monotone for me to really get into it fully. And the more I listened idk. I should’ve switched to just the ebook. So going forward in this series I’ll be doing that.

It’s a very cool concept of everything and I liked how everything built up! I’m excited to see how it’ll continue!

She has a good voice for this type of story.

I suppose when the characters are supernatural the massive age gap isn’t as big of an ick but just once I’d like it to be the woman who is the older one.
