narrator went well with the store
but would love to listen to the other books.

good story but irritating narrator

this was an interesting take on the rejected mates theme and the plot n is well written. while the characters are in the lateb20s-early 30s, the narrator sound like an educated high school girl reading an essay out loud-- she has rhythm and variation but they don't match the scene. she seems a little nervous and runs sentences together with no meaningful pauses and too fast. I found it just too irritating.

I can’t get through the book. The narrator is horrible.

The narrator used the same tone throughout the book and does not highlight major point of the book by pausing or changing tone. Do yourself a favor and just read the book yourself.
