Most wonderful book on Christ’s love

Other than the Bible, I listen to this book more than any audiobook in my collection. It never grows old and I honestly can’t count the number of times I’ve gone back to it just to remind myself of the incredible love and mercy Mr Ortland portrays so well. It’s the book I recommend to everyone I know and love. Excellent work Mr Ortland!

The most encouraging book outside of the Bible

This book draws from age old Puritan writings and the author's personal study of the Bible to make known Jesus's heart toward broken, dejected, fearful, ashamed believers who are afraid of getting too close to the Savior. It shows how Christ reaches right into the most broken parts of us, and loves us the most deeply there.

Great insight

I feel like the book began a bit slow and with the basics of our relationship with Christ, but then brought great points and deeper reflective perspectives. My favorite chapters were the last two. Great read!
