Not Your Cookie Cutter Audio Book

From the first chapter I was drawn in, as what seemed like a zombie apocalypse, emitting from a burning funeral home , took hold, and didn't let me go. I wanted, no, I had to know, how this all came about.

The next chapter or two was a bit more clinical, but I would later realize that it was setting the groundwork for me being able to better understand the story as it unfolded. With some of the revelations coming forth from them, still to this day, making me question if the author was just taking me down the rabbit hole of his imagination, or, if in reality, morticians and funeral home directors really practice such acts, in order to make the most from their profession and lot in life.

As the story veered back into the the transformation of the mortician into a god, you can't help thinking how the line is being blurred between reality and what may or may not be just a well formulated tale. With the way things are laid out, leaving me to still question if everything is plausible, or even happened. And the characters real world feel, along with the twists and turns, even at the very end, leaving me wanting more.

Additionally , there is 40 minute music , that was inspired by the story included, With the music walking a fine line between rock, metal, ambient and techno and drawing to mind elements of Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie, and Nine Inch Nails. So, if you like that kind of style, then you will deeply appreciate the additional add.

I would recommend this audio book to anyone that has a feel for originality. As it gives you that and then some.
