Captivating

This is one of my favorite audible series. They had me locked in from start to finish. I was hit with multiple emotions and the plots and twist were done just right to have me wondering what was going to happen next.

Not a typical alpha brute

I really enjoyed the fact that the big bad bear alpha wasn't a testosterone filled brute and genuinely cared about the well-being of the she wolf. It was great to break away from that ridiculous two dimensional alpha trope that saturates the omegaverse scene. I prefer ff omegaverse stories, though, which generally just have a more sincere feel. I understand that's not everyone's bag, though, so take it for what it is.
Both lead characters are strong and willful, and the story was interesting and had real substance to it. Solid A grade.

Only a woman voice the entire story.

I was looking forward to hearing a male voice too as it said but had to listen to this chick the entire story. Very disappointing voice.

Shifter Romance 🐻🐺 - 🏍️ Romance - Erotic Paranormal Romance

I found this story pretty typical for a shifter romance albeit the transition that Onyx goes through was unexpected. I liked how it was unusual however I’m still a bit confused as to some of the specifics. I wish there were a few more words spoken about those things by the antagonist when the showdown went down. And although the book is technically an MC romance the 🏍️ parts were on the limited side.

I was well satisfied by the performances of both narrators. Listening to this book was an enjoyable experience however it wasn’t exactly a dual narrated story as all but the epilogue was in Onyx’s POV.

Beautiful ending

I loved it! Found it by accident and just started reading. I could not put it down.
