Excellent Book

If you enjoy masterful storytelling with natural character relationship development you simply must pick up this book.

Great storytelling and compelling world building

I really enjoyed this one. The characters were lovable but flawed, making them feel more real. The world, even though we only see a tiny glimpse, is compelling and I can’t wait for more if it’s history to be revealed. I’m looking forward to the sequel.

This is a complex and well thought out world to fall into. If you like Samantha Shannon's prequel Day of Fallen Night and Priory of the Orange Tree, or Brandon Sanderson's epic fantasies, then you'll like this.

Beautiful

I loved this story and the use of blood color as a tool to create bias and power hierarchy. It is beautiful writing and I was moved. I couldn’t stop listening, witnessing the characters grow and learn. I found myself immersed in the story. I highly recommend it!!

Twisted & Mysterious World

What a twisted, mysterious world. The amount of reveals in this book totally made my head spin. I enjoyed every minute of this book. I got sucked right in. Pick this book up immediately.
