Phenomenal story, GET IT!!

You will not regret getting this book. In my opinion, the whole series are must haves. Sara Driscoll is absolutely one of the BEST authors I have ever read. (I read a lot, like … a lot). Her story line development is extraordinary. The extensive research and expert consults make her stories a genre of their own. I have read and listened to every one of her published books. I highly recommend this series to everyone. I always learn as much as I am entertained by her books. The reader, Susan Bennett, is fantastic and really brings the characters to life. I am a dog person and have trained a certified therapy dog and I beyond love the relationship Meg and Hawk have. Every time I re-read, or first time read a new book, I start making plans to train my next doggo as a SAR dog. But Sara describing the physical stamina needed (5 mile runs daily at 5am) convinces me maybe a drug sniffing dog is more my speed.

I liked the involvement of the dogs. Other K9/dog books early give the dog a mention.

Another Thrilling Read

As Meg and Brian, along with Hawk and Lacy, attempt to chase down mobsters in Philadelphia, with disappointing results, my initial thought was that this book is missing some of the drama and passion that makes this series one of the best. I was wrong. The fuse was just a little longer, but the detonation was worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to more.

Excellently written by a very good author. She can show all types emotions in quality writing. The narrator is perfect for these books. Thank You!!
