His magic presents itself, making his life even more problematic. Kristjan realizes that maybe not having magic wasn't so bad after all.

You know this story.

This story has been retold over and over. Especially if you read manga or watch anime. What it always boils down to is whether the MC is humble, like-able and challenged.
-This version makes the mc a nice guy, but he is borderline on the humility. And he is way too much op. I wish he was more restricted. Hopefully he will be in subsequent books.

Overall good

My only gripe is that the MC calls almost every male he meets a D bag or a—hole, but is probably the biggest a—hole in the whole book. He has no chill. Lot of things could have gone smoother had he not been a dick.

i really enjoy this author and his style. i like all his sites and can't wait for more. that's why i started this one.

Really surprised by this book! Had a lot of fun listening to it! Already started listening to the 2nd book

Very fun

I have read this book several times before I listened to it. So I knew I was going to like the story.

Anyway. The two voice actors are great for this book. However, Katana Jones is absolutely perfect. She could literally read the phone book aloud and it would be a hit.

This book is well worth the listen. Stop reading this review and give it a listen.
