Not too many people get to see me off the court. I don’t get much down time, so whether it’s in the off season or in-between practicing my three pointers, I love to hear what is going down outside of my bubble. Getting a chance to talk to my friends, family and just about anyone who has something to say brings me so much joy and inspiration. But the big problem is, I have NO TIME! Sometimes the only window I have to myself is on the way home. Take a ride with me and my friends as we talk about the world around us and what matters, inspires and excites people from all walks of life.

On this episode of 15 Minutes from Home, we’re back again with stand-up comic and movie star Kevin Hart where he mocks my bad ankles, reminds us that Twitter is undefeated and we reminisce about Kev losing a bet that I couldn’t dunk during the NBA All-Star Game.

  • Episode 3: Nipsey Hussle
    Dec 9 2021
On this episode of 15 Minutes from Home, I sit down with rapper Nipsey Hussle, who tragically was shot and killed not long after we taped this episode. Nipsey was an activist, a business entrepreneur, and a hip-hop legend so unstoppable that even after he passed he went on to win two Grammy Awards. We spoke about growing up in south central Los Angeles during the Rodney King riots and how he used his upbringing to inspire people of all ages for generations to come. R.I.P., Nip.

I listened to all 8 episodes. This was my favorite. It talked about the importance of being heard and that your vote/(positive) opinion counts. It was also a good lesson on perseverance.
