Naturally, when Vic is murdered with Dorcas's pantyhose and that same Dorcas is standing over his dead body, the police arrest...Dorcas. They figure it's an open-and-shut case, although Jaine figures no killer can be that dumb.

But when Jaine sets out to find the real culprit, she is distracted by one dating disaster after another with Andrew - and she may not see the dark side of comedy until she faces the business end of a gun and a cold, deadly grin....

This is the second time I have listened to this book. Both times it was entertaining and enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

Funny w a good mystery mixed in.

Warning. If you are overweight all the weight bashing might get annoying- heck! Even if you aren’t overweight it might be annoying. Despite the slightly obnoxious whining without ever doing anything to fix it and stereotyping that you are overweight because you do things like eat fast food and a container of ice cream everyday. However, if you get past it, it’s entertaining. The heroine is funny with lots of mystery gold for this willing to pan for it.

Levine is Devine

One of the better cozy mystery series I have come across in a while. I love the characters, the snarky, dry humor, and the steady pace of the storylines.
