The story crawls under the weight of its own wordiness. Every character talks — and talks, and talks — often about nothing that moves the plot or enriches the reader. Entire chapters feel like filler: long-winded reflections, side-conversations, and moral debates that could have been delivered in a tenth of the space.
Instead of meaningful development or narrative momentum, I found myself wading through speeches that seemed disconnected from the core story. For all the hype around this book, I kept waiting for the part where it becomes brilliant. It never came.
If you enjoy endless dialogue, philosophical rambling, and a plot that advances slower than a glacier, this might be your masterpiece. For me, it was an overinflated, unfocused, and ultimately pointless read.
Two stars would be too generous for this book
