Friends to Lovers, Foodie & Sexy

I love the friends to lovers trope. Blakely's Shut Up and Kiss me delivered a sizzling friends to lovers romance that was sexy, flirty and so delicious. Emerson and Nolan's relationship felt genuine from their friendship to what happens when they cross the line and try to ignore their feelings. All the food talk had me drooling.

I adore Julia Whelan's narration, and she was perfectly paired with the talents of Jason Clarke. The audio was such fun to listen to. I devoured it.

Loved all the details

The narrators performance made this funny story a wonderful listen. The details of food and the cities kept the story interesting.

From the opening with all those innuendos, to the very swoony ending, this book is pure FUN! Witty banter, quick comebacks...and the one bed...this is a story you can get lost in over and over again.

Oh, and Nancy...that was just brilliant!

Amazing Friends to Lovers!!!!

This friends to lovers was everything I was hoping for and expecting from Lauren Blakely! The characters were funny, the banter is top notch, and of course their chemistry was off the charts! I always fall in love with the Lauren's characters and this book was no exception! and to top it off, Jason Clarke and Julia Whelan were both amazing narrators. I will listen to anything narrated by Jason, but it's so much better when I am loving the character he is bringing to life. Highly recommend this one!!!!

Beautiful Story!

This is the second book in the Happy Endings series. This is a sweet friends-to-lovers romance. Nolan and Emerson are great characters. I liked their banter, and push and pull relationship. The story has some emotional parts. This is a beautiful story. Julia Whelan and Jason Clarke did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it. The bonus novella Shameless Flirt is a great addition to this audiobook, performed by Teddy Hamilton, Shane East, and a full cast.
