    Mike and returning cohost, Northern California guitarist Bella Rayne welcomed Texas country artist Payton Riley - 2023 TCMA 'Young Artist of the Year.'

    Payton's musical journey began almost immediately when her love for music and talent for singing was evident before she could talk. From voice lessons at seven to writing her own songs at nine, music has always been a central part of her life. She regularly travels to Nashville and Memphis to collaborate and write, adding to her already impressive list of original music. In 2022, her first release to Texas radio, “Long Live Cowboys,” earned her a coveted spot among the Texas greats. In 2023, at just 15 years old, Payton made Texas Country Music history by becoming the youngest-ever nominee for the Texas Country Music Association’s (TCMA) ‘Young Artist of the Year’ category, which she went on to win. With goals as big as The Lone Star State, Payton Riley aims to spread her music far and wide, serving as an inspiration to other young artists. Her faith in God guides her path as she seeks to uplift and encourage fellow musicians and fans alike. Known for her giving heart, sassy attitude, and captivating stage presence, Payton's original songs resonate with audiences of all ages. Payton is Texas Proud!     Mike and cohost, actor Joey Viera featured Australian actress and filmmaker Aurora Iler. An Award-Winning filmmaker and actress with a passion for creating film projects that focus on content affecting awareness of important issues.

    At just 11, Aurora wrote and directed her first movie ‘Melon Head’ – a film about the importance of Helmet Safety. Her film was proudly entered in numerous film festivals.

    Now 13, Aurora has garnered attention for her latest short, ‘Grape’ - a film she wrote, directed and stars in – bringing to light the dangers of vaping. A serious addiction risk to children and teens. ‘Grape’ has received rave reviews and has been recognized at film festivals globally – including the world-premiere in Beverly Hills where Aurora was awarded ‘Best Up and Coming Actor’ at the 15th annual Lady Filmmaker awards. As well, her film received a nomination for ‘Best Social Impact Film.’ At the Mammoth Film Festival, Aurora was nominated for ‘Best Actress in a Short’ and walked away with a Mammoth in Ice trophy for being the ‘Youngest Filmmaker in Attendance’

    Since then, Auroa starred as ‘Abby’ - the lead role in ‘Magic Chalk’ - a film for the not-for-profit charity ‘Rize Up’ helping mostly women and children and has also been nominated by the 45thYAA Awards for ‘Best Actress in a Short Film’

    This was a wonderful chat with Aurora Iler. Mike and Joey really enjoyed chatting about her process as an actress and filmmaker. 'Grape' sends a clear message and offers insight into the vaping addiction crisis among youth not only in Australia but world-wide!

    Award-Winning Canadian actor Logan Aultman joined Mike and returning cohost, from 'Son of a Critch'. - actress Sophia Powers to ConversationsRadio Ep.169!

    Logan Aultman is a young Canadian actor. After participating in musical theater classes he started acting professionally with his first TV role in 'Odd Squad.' He is known for his role as Gunter in Homeschooled on CBC Gem. He was nominated for this role as Best Supporting Actor at the Toronto Web series Festival.

    Logan can be seen in the Nickelodeon movie 'Snow Day' as Eli Welch on Paramount+. Logan also voiced the character of Charlie Sloane in the Audible Original Anne of Green Gables alongside Catherine O'Hara and Victor Garber. He also enjoys writing stories with two stories published in Canadian anthologies.
