Grazia Deledda (1871-1936) è stata una scrittrice italiana. Considerata una delle figure più importanti della letteratura italiana, vinse il Nobel per la letteratura nel 1927, seconda donna e prima italiana a vincere il prestigioso premio. Tra le sue opere più importanti, spesso ambientate in Sardegna, ricordiamo Canne al vento, La madre, La via del male, Cenere e Elias Portolu.
