Reader mispronounced a priori

which is a fundamental concept. Couldn't listen to it for 41 hours. Really unbelievable.

Great story, both entertaining and informative at the same time. Will continue to look for more work by the narrator as well. Recommend.

Great Collection from an OG of Modern Philosophy

Huge fan of Schopenhauer. One of the first thinkers to incorporate eastern concepts into western philosophy, I’ve always respected the sincerity of his writings and brash unapologetic pessimism. Having his writings compiled in this format has been great to see his influences on guys like Freud, Nietzsche and Jung. The narrator does a good job keeping steady and getting out of the way of the writing. I appreciate that this collection includes his most important work. Gonna be listening to this for a while.

Poor performance, questionable philosophy

That was really fascinating. I’m not impressed by Schopenhauer. The good details will have to be excavated from all the pedestrian crud and the dreck of bad ideas. I’m not looking forward to the work, but this was an interesting overview of Schopenhauer’s thoughts. However, the performance had a lot of errors in it. I think it could use another review.
