  • A Biological and Adopted Family: A Mom's Dream Come True
    Feb 26 2024

“Adoption was never a last resort for me. I always wanted one biological child and one adopted child.”

In this episode, host Victoria Lauture-Duncker interviews Daisha Enos, a 44-year-old wellness and health coach, about her journey to motherhood at 40. She discusses the comments and questions she received from family members and friends about her decision to have children later in life. While she always believed that she’d be a mother, of two - one biological child and one adopted child, she never dreamed of getting married.

After meeting her now husband Aron, she knew she had found the icing on the cake! Daisha and Aron, mutually agreed to spend the first few years of married life together and wait to start their family. She credits him for being supportive early of her wishes for their family dynamic.

The story behind their adoption process is a MUST LISTEN. It is truly a testament in that when something is meant for you, it is meant for YOU!

My biggest takeaway from my chat with Daisha?

Being specific about what you want and going after it can lead to incredible outcomes. Also, that it’s important to have a positive mindset and be open to learning from setbacks and challenges. Incredible!
