I have loved ever book in this series. Liliana Hart is one of my favorite authors. I wanted to right this review mainly to say with Jack being a main character, the combination of “Jack asked” appears normal to a person reading. While listening on Audible, I kept getting distracted by the two simple words. Jack asked kept playing as Jack a**. I probably will stick to my Kindle reading.

Great story but still get distracted by the authors constant use of Jack asked..which sounds just like jacka@$...cant Jack inquire or question or do something else besides asking every other page?
