Returning from his training with Gold in the strange world of Somerset, Arbor is immediately forced into yet another battle - this time against multiple enemies. Worse, he receives reports of disturbing activity coming from the Goldenleaf Forest, and dire warnings of a threat that Laedrin will not be able to handle.

The future holds many uncertainties - the hardest of which comes when Arbor is forced to make a choice between rescuing his sister from herself, and keeping the peace in his own lands.

Warning: This book contains mild profanity, gore, and content that may not be appropriate for children.

The whole series is great 1-4 (thus far) there were a few holes in the story though Review

In Book 2 around chapter 29 when arbor is poisoned, then the doctor gets the poison out. Wouldn’t that mean his magic could now heal him at an accelerated rate; he did rank up after all. It feels like his healing never gets stronger. In book four during the elf city Siege when shellderon picked up arbors glaive should he have been burned?

Why didn’t arbor once try to enhance or improve anyones magic to make his friends stronger? Seems like he should have even more so when he states he could do that multiple times and he always had down time in his carriage on the way to battles.

But overall I really enjoyed the storyline and how arbor has become strong and wise. Arbors sister is ever so ditsy without anyone mentioning it haha. Even though something’s are missing I can’t wait for the 5th book.

Fun and exciting

I enjoyed it…just really not happy about the decisions the MC and other characters made honestly it was disappointing. Hoping the next book will change or else I’m probably going to drop the series

MCs sister is a psycho whiney bia. Most of the MCs problems seem to come from stupid actions made by those who support him.

MC is cool

I love Arbor as a Character and most of the supporting Cast. However there is ONE character that almost completely ruins the books for me. and thats Kariya, his sister. no matter what is happening, she is petty, Vindictive, and selfish to the point she's a detriment to everyone around her. she's described as "Sweet and kind." but you literially never see her being anything but a Selfish brat. She's easily the ONLY bad part about this book and series.
Whenever Arbor is the focus the story is engaging and driving, he's a very compelling character who genuinely cares about everyone around him. He is powerful and humble and I am always rooting for him and he is in Top shape in this installment.

Love Arbor
