As the band of killers get to know Vail, they realize that instead of focusing on the history of the mob, he’s trying to write an up-to-date account. Normally they would murder a man who planned to divulge their secrets, but it’s clear Vail doesn’t truly understand the danger he’s in. Their only choice to keep him alive is to protect him and convince him to stop. Vail struggles with ADHD and is reluctant to let go of his career, the one thing he feels he is good at. Unfortunately word is already out that Vail knows things he shouldn’t, and keeping him safe won’t be simple.

How Did You Survive Without Us? ends on a small cliff-hanger for Vail, but the next book is already written, so you won’t have to wait to find out what happens next!

amazing!

One of my favorite stories ever and it was made even better by that narration! I highly recommend this book!

Amazing story, perfect voice

Beautiful story about poly love, self love, family love, it has a bit of everything. Very well written characters and the narrator does an incredible work! A talent that knows how to express emotions with just his voice. Looking forward to hear more from him

I'm too squeamish

Very descriptive. But does that much blood and gore make it any more interesting a read?

Mac does a phenomenal job bringing these characters to life.

I love the way Ki and Meg bring such richness and realism to life in their books. I felt like I was right there, going through everything with these guys.

I cannot wait for the other books in this series.

Super Entertaining and Original Story on Audible!

Wow, I really enjoyed this listen! Mac Rae the narrator did a splendid job on all of the different very distinctive voices! Not an easy task with a developing Harem of main characters! His voice for Vail was perfect but I have to say I could not get enough of his Irish accent for Rowan! The way the author wove Vail's ADHD into the story and how it fit with the entire plot of having a harem was clever! Loved witnessing tough and nonromantic Cillian get wrapped around Vail's finger so naturally over the course of the book! You can also feel the pull Fallon and Aspen have towards Vail as well! The narrator portrayed and voiced the sexy scenes in a hot and steamy way! I highly recommend this audible but be warned, you will want to start the second audible right after! I am so invested in these guys and all the violence and drama surrounding them along with their budding Romance!!
