Very much like Agatha Christie’s books

Enjoyed the book. I listen to audiobooks in order to drown out my husband’s snores. It can’t be just any reader. The voice is very pleasant

Very likable characters

Great plot! And I love that the lady detective is working with Scotland Yard. All the usual “stay out of our way” rhetoric gets old.

Totally surprised

I was totally surprised when the killer was revealed. Kept me guessing. Excellent story line and narration.

Wonderful twists

I figured it out early, but there were enough layers to keep me guessing for quite awhile. Nice addition of the historical notes at the end. I hope there are more in this series.
