Using my stealthy P.I. moves, I narrowed my search to a time and place where I knew I could find him. It was completely innocent. A chance meeting that would give me the opportunity to pitch my business.

It wasn’t until I sat down across from the gorgeous, panty-soaking man in front of me, that I realized I wanted so much more than just his money. I could very well want his heart if I wasn’t careful.

Apparently, my P.I. skills aren’t as stellar as I thought, because Jasper had his own secret, and it changed EVERYTHING.

Great book!

This book is my favorite in the Modern Love Series! Wild Lennon and sexy beast Jasper - I love them both and their story and loooove their voices (as always C J Bloom & Jacob Morgan are one of the best!) … but I have some issues… this audiobook is not recorded as professionally as it should be!
Sometimes there is an echo or in the background between reading a different narrator’s voice, this is annoying especially when listening to the audiobook with headphones… I regret Piper Rayne didn’t let us know Lennon’s conversation with her brother after he gave her “a bad review “!… I wonder what she might have said to him…

I don't know if Iove or hate this story

The characters are complex and flawed. I loved the world building, voice acting, and complex characters. The story doesn't follow any specific tropes but uses basic tropes as a starting point for character dynamics. I enjoyed the complexity to both MCs and emotional depth. The surprise/secret MMC kept wa big, but MFC handled it well. However, when MFC failed to tell MMC the truth about knowing who he was, when he found out, I was annoyed with how many people didn't believe in the goodness of MFC, didn't give her the benefit if the doubt, and how MMC didn't show the same kindness and respect MFC did when she found out about MMC's secret. Arguably, MMC's lie/secret was a bigger deal than MFC's deal. So many people think so little of MFC it's hard to listen and not get angry for her. When MMC acted so coldly so quickly I wanted to dislike him. But that's what make this book so good, complex characters and believable mistakes. However, I wish we got some closure with MFC's family/brothers, especially her twin. They were so harsh in characterizating MFC. We never get to see them on better terms like we got when MFC's mom stood up for her. I would have also liked to see more of MFC's friends, they were all a huge part of the other 2 books, but her friends barely showed in this book.

A great book ending the Modern love series. Thank you, Piper, for this world/journey. The heroine, Lennon, is always the 5th wheel when hanging out with her friends. She, also, want to open an adult XXX shop but need money investment to do so. Soon enough, she meet, Jasper, as a coffer maker not a banker and from there, their unique love story begins. I love how each book represent friends that were in book 1 and 2 as they already bloomed in those books & Lennon is the last one to bloom or shine bright in this one. Yes, the familiarity of characters and scenery of San Franscisco brings enjoyment of reading/listening to it. Overall, you want giggles, full of sexy banters, and intriguing outcasts fun, this is it!!!

CJ Bloom played the role of Lennon! She did an excellent job giving the character of a lot of sass and spice! She is definitely a firecracker mind-blowing kind of personality. She rocked the performance!!!!

Jacob Morgan played the role of Jasper. He captured the character’s charming sexy beast side as well, being a responsible & amazing single dad. He manage to, also, to portray the voice of his little son! What a great performance!!!
