  • Exclusive: 72 hours dodging Russia’s ‘drone safari’ in Kherson & Did NATO sink a Russian ship carrying nuclear reactors to North Korea?
    May 13 2026

    Day 1,539.

Today, while Russia unleashes another huge aerial assault across Ukraine – as President Donald Trump insists the war could end soon – we examine Kyiv’s race to develop a new weapon and report on a deadly strike that the United Nations says hit one of its trucks. Then we bring you the latest from the NATO Eastern Flank summit in Romania as allies confront mounting fears over regional security, before looking at an investigation into a sunken Russian ship that was allegedly carrying nuclear reactors to North Korea. And later, in a special report from Kherson, a Telegraph journalist is forced to flee for cover as Russian drones hunt targets above the city.

I look forward to “Ukraine, the Latest” every day. The hosts and guests are all very impressive, prepared, and give valuable insights into the Ukrainian struggle against the outrageous and barbaric invasion by Russia. I feel fortunate to have found this podcast. I live in Denver Colorado. Many thanks and please keep up the wonderful reporting.

Awesome, comprehensive, heartfelt podcast. it's the authoritative podcast on the Ukraine war. Very in depth. They are certainly "pro-Ukraine" but provide unbiased analysis, if not necessarily without minor quips.

The best Ukraine podcast hands down

I have to admit; writing that title for a review seems a bit corny and potentially hyperbolic, etc, etc. Yet, this is exactly how I feel. These folks do an incredible job every day bringing us thoughtful, researched, no b.s. analysis. Their folks are smart, have expertise in the topics they discuss, and are just interesting to listen to. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. Listen out for Dom, which I think is short for Dominic; he really knows his stuff, and is also a bit opinionated, self-deprecating, fun spirited (though very subdued because of the topic), and just an excellent source of information. I can't see how this doesn't become your only/primary podcast about the Ukraine war.

Great pieces of Journalism
