Very long but enjoyable

First time listener to this author and narrator. Liked both and will likely follow this author and voice actor to another story.

The vampire story I’ve always wanted

I cannot believe how quickly I fell in love with the main character and how quickly I grew to love the vampires as well. I am desperate for more. I wish there were four more of these, because I want nothing more than to be a part of this world a little longer. Rin Chupeco’s mastery of plot, of description, of horror and of romance is worthy of every minute and every page. They leave me desperate for more.

Amazing read!!

If you are a fan of amazing fantasy I strongly suggest you dip your toes into this one! Highly enjoyable!

good book awesome story telling

the narration was excellent and Rin Chupeco is my favorite author this just isn't my favorite book by her. my favorites are the bone witch series and the girl in the well series. don't get me wrong- this is a very good story just not quite as captivating as the others. I did appreciate this one was a bit spicier than her other works though. 😉 would love for more of that to be incorporated into their work.

Poor Remy

It's the coupling I wanted from Castelvania. The action and adventute I wanted from any MM book, but not quite the level of description in thr bed chamber scenes. Which amazingly enough is my only vice.

Remy really deserves all the love he can get and I hope he can say I love you in book 2. As well as have his vampire lovers help him manage all the guilt tbat are honestly not his fault. His family is just toxic and hopefully he can cut that father of his loose.

I have high expectations of book 2 and am aggravated I didn't discover this series until book 2 was at least out already.
