  • NOW’S THE TIME introduces the world to the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association, an elite basketball first for women in Canada. Amplifying the female voice within the game, this season-long podcast presents a fresh ecosystem filled with hoops personality, success stories and educating social perspectives. NOW’S THE TIME for this cultural sports space seeded throughout Atlantic Canada to take flight. Tipping off in 2022, players over 19 will fill MWBA rosters spanning New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. With this new elite league comes unique opportunity for players, coaches, officials, minor officials, team executives and fans to nurture dreams on and off the court. Teams participating in the inaugural season include the Fredericton Freeze, Halifax Hornets, Halifax Thunder, Moncton Mystics, Port City Fog and the Windsor Edge. #NOWS THE TIME
