Amazing

Loved hearing the boys’ perspective on the original story! Jake Bordeaux does an amazing job every time.

Heartbreaking

The understanding this book gives is worth it. I recommend reading it! The only one I don’t really like is Seth. 😅

so many little hints about what's to come

It was cool to go back and see what the boys were all going through in the first book. My heart always goes out to Darius for what he has to endure with Lionel as a father. They all have such a tough face to put on to try to show their power and authority except for with each other, and it's fun to see what kind of bond they all have to each other.

easier to stomach

I struggled with the first ZA book bc of how intense the bullying is, but it was much much more palatable from the boys perspective. On to book two!

Wow. Eye opening.

Loved book one and all the amazing world building and being introduced to all the characters but I always wondered what was going on in the guys’ minds. I surely got my answer in the best way. Getting to know your favorite characters better is always a plus. So eye opening!

The narration was great. I love how he gives each character such a unique voice. It truly brings you into the story.
