Nothing about Sawyer and Jett makes sense. Not after their disastrous first meeting and most certainly not the white-hot chemistry that keeps pulling them together. Scarred minds and wounded souls are forgotten when desire takes over, but masks have a way of settling back into place for two men who have nothing real to hang on to.

Can Sawyer and Jett let the walls that are keeping them safe within themselves fall, or will they miss out not only on each other, but the very thing the town of Pelican Bay is offering them?

sounded like the sound engineer was not on his game for this one but otherwise great story. looking forward to #5

Enjoyed, but…

I enjoyed this story, don’t get me wrong. I was both looking forward to and dreading Sawyer’s story. He has been mysterious and a good friend to all. Despite the mystery, you could tell he was struggling. I liked the storyline and getting to spend time with the entire family, but there was a lack of depth to Jett & Sawyer’s relationship compared to the previous books. I liked them together but I just didn’t sense their connection was properly established. Pull, yes. But no depth. Despite that, I’d definitely recommend this book. I do not think that ruined the story for me. It was just … different.

Michael Dean is so amazing!!

The story line has been so awesome. I love that she keeps all characters in the stories and makes you fully understand the different backgrounds of the individuals. This is my favorite one so far!

I love Pelican Bay!

The men of Pelican Bay are all so interesting and Sawyer and Jett did not disappoint. This series has had so many different men and personalities that it was been so fun to read/listen to. Of course Sawyer and Jett both have a sordid past but a stray veteran dog brings them together. You don’t want to miss this.

Absolutely love it

The best story by far. I love everything that Slone Kennedy writes. I can't wait for more stories
