Short and sexy

Very short, but sexy, story. Dakota is on a cruise
alone because of her a-hole fiancé who cheated on her. She meets Kade and has what she thinks will be a one night stand. But, much to her surprise, it turns out to be something more.

I liked Rachel Woods as narrator. James Amherst has a nice voice, but sounded somewhat robotic to me.

I thought this was a fresh and vibrant for an instant love story.
I thought the narrator did a fabulous job.

Dakota and Kade

This was a very short story so no time for character development. All in all, it was a fun story. It is insta-lust when they meet. She sees him and goes over to him. They are together on the cruise and on the island. Then Dakota finds out what he really does for work. Can they make it as a couple? At this point, I wanted the book to be longer. Rachel Woods and James Amherst did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

she decided to have a fling while on the cruise.
She see her target and wild sexy nights. But it was suppose to be a fling.
Rachel Woods and James Amherst narration is good.

Classic One Night Stand with a Stranger

Dakota Mitchell dumps her cheating fiancé and decides to take their exclusive honeymoon cruise alone. The first night on the cruise she hooks up with handsome Kade for a night that rocks her world.

This is a short story so a very quick listen. It had the potential to be a cute, interesting take on a common trope. Unfortunately it ended up being little more than a series of sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, those can be ok, but in this case, I really did not care for the characters. There was some character development at the end which started to spark a glimmer of interest but the story then just ended. A little more effort at the front end of the story and a little less sex would have made this a more enjoyable listen. It seemed this could have been a nice lead in story to a full length novel. Dakota and Kade meet on the cruise, hook up and never see each other again only to run into each other a year later, etc., etc. The author tried this by having them meet up later in the cruise vacation but it just fell flat. I don't expect a lot with short stories but they need to tell a story. I was hoping for more here.

The narrators were awesome and were enjoyable to listen to. I would definitely listen to them again.
