Great Story & Narration🎧 Gripping & Heartfelt!

This fantastic romantic suspense grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. This is my first Maggie Wade book, she is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style, she created interesting storylines and characters that are easy to relate to and connect with, they are likable, east to care about and root for too. Kirk Reid a former special agent for the FBI and current Eidolon black operative living in the UK. When his best friend, Clay, calls asking him to do him a favor he could not say no, his half sister, Callie, who is in the UK may be in danger. Reid visits her with several of his team mates to investigate and to keep her safe. Reid felt an instant to her but she is his best friends sister and can not go there. Callie heard a lot about Reid from her brother, so much that she started to develop a crush on him and after spending some time with him that crush solidifies and deepens. Callie’s stalker has escalated and the team is trying to find out who it is and they are not liking what they are finding. There is never a dull moment in this action packed novel, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, mystery, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions, and a wonderful romance. Maggie Wade, thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Orcus Auditory is an entertaining storyteller and a versatile voice artist. He has a complete understanding of the characters he portrays, gives each a voice that is a perfect fit for that character’s persona, sounds believable in every role he plays and just as I picture the character to sound. I love how he takes each role and makes it his own, also love how much heart he puts into his work as he captures the character’s emotions, projects them into his performance and has you feeling every single one. This talented narrator is a pleasure to listen to, and his narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Reid and Callie

This was awesome to listen to. The narrator brought the book alive and made you feel what both characters were feeling.
Reid was best friends with Callie s brother and when something scared Callie to the point to contact her brother, he reached out and asked Reid to check on her. Little did he know that the course of his future would be found while helping his best friends sister by keeping her safe from a stalker.

A wonderful HEA by Maddie Wade! Jumping to the next book in the series and knowing it will be just as good as this one!

Beautiful story, excellent narration.

This is one story I'll be re-listening to multiple times. The story of is enough to keep my interest, while the narration is amazingly gorgeous. It's awesome how the narrator -Orcus Auditory- gave each character their own voice, and between the writing and his vocal talents, each came alive with unique personality!

A new author I will follow

I came for the narrator, stayed for the story, only skipped a small triggery bit. But those are my issues, no fault of the author. I followed Orcus Auditory from TikTok and was glad of the long format. Highly recommend.

Super hot

I am absolutely addicted to the series. The characters are strong. The action is fast and the same level is super hot.
