Too many ifs

Very enjoyable, really nice story and well constructed characters but too much ruminating! The characters overthink way to much…

Whats up with the male names??

So it could have been a bit shorter(skipped ahead a lot) but it was a nice story. However, what's with the males names, Emil, Francis, Leif, and the humdinger AMBROSE!! what the heck!! lol

Narrators were both awful

Besides the flat, breathy narration the FMC storyline was just unbelievable. I got to the point of skipping whole chapters toward the end.

This book needed work with the story but it would have been better with better voice actors. This is a book you are better off with the paperback.

MMC Voice was terrible

Wasn’t a fan of the MMCs voice. It made him sound like an old man and was just cringy. The overall story was good though. I gave it 3 stars.

Narration

Really poor female reading. Her tone and inflections were just completely off and really hard to listen to. Would definitely think twice about another book read by her. She sounds like a teenage male going into battle, not a twenty something female nanny who falls in love. The male voice was fine, maybe just a little old for the character.
