Extinction New Zealand returns in the much-anticipated fourth novel of the bestselling series.

Welcome to New Zealand: golden beaches, forest-covered mountains, pristine water and exotic bird life. A safe, friendly place to raise your family.

Not anymore.

All that was before the Hemorrhage Virus decimated the population. Before the survivors fled to the islands to escape the new and terrifying apex predators—the Variants. That was before Operation Utu launched to reclaim their land.

Ten years have passed since they took back their country. Ten years of hope, rebuilding and surviving. But while Jack, Dee, and the Renegades focused on creating a new, better civilization, evil was busy too. And evil doesn’t forget.

While away on a mission, Jack is shocked to learn that Dee and their son Marco have been kidnapped by unknown foes. As he races to locate them, the home they sacrificed so much for comes under attack by one of their own. Now the clock is ticking to keep their sanctuary from collapsing forever.

Great to hear Raphaels voice again. He really brings Jack and Dee to life.
Set ten years after book three, we find New Zealand rebuilding still after the Variant scourge nearly wiped them out.
I really enjoyed this installment. In terms of storytelling, I think the author has improved. The action is more intense, the characters each have an individual voice.
Alexander Soren-the villain was brilliantly written. Even though she was evil I could understand her.
Loved the Maori culture and use of the unique kiwi vernacular! makes a nice change from everything being American.
More please.

The only disappointment to this book is that it ends. Would love to hear more.

What a follow up to the third book. Definitely worth the wait. Just when everyone thinks they're safe and recovering from the variants and collaborators they're hit with a new threat that could be the end of New Zealand! Hopefully, there is a book 5 coming!

Jack and Dee return!

I just couldn't do it. The Narrator was awful. The story is slow and uninteresting, and the chapters jump around in a chaotic manner. I couldn't get through more than four or five chapters of this rubbish. it's a shame I enjoyed the other variant stories.

awful
