Great Story but 16 hrs too long

Story line was grate but the length should have been edited to 12 hours. Narrator was fine but not my favorite; he can be a bit monotone.

Great story

So well written. its a very interesting topic Hockey and a predator. Zabo and Witt sure know how to write. great first bok in a series. can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Michael Ferraiuolo did the most outstanding job narrating this and brining all of these characters to life. Michael is definitely, on of the best. Get this book it's a Great story.

📖 Story comment: likeable characters - interesting story.
Despite the pace being good, the first few hours were slow as the relationship built, I understand why so much time was committed to building the strong foundation of the relationship between Isaac and Julien but it just felt like it went on forever ... only that I know what to expect from these authors, I probably would have given up and come back to it at a later date, but I'm glad I persevered... the third act (probably the last 5 hours) were excellent and worth the wait.

Once it got going, I thought the Predator / Rookie story line was well written and well handled. Julien's mental struggles and reactions were heart wrenching and Isaac's commitment to "being there" for him were a balm to my ragged emotions.

🎧 Narrator comment: Michael Ferraiuolo is a master story teller. He suits the characters, has wonderful pacing, good cadence, inflections and intonations, an excellent variety of accents and pulls all the emotion this story has to offer.

What a ride. From highs to low lows. I was in tears a few times through this audio book. One of my favourite books now. Highly recommend this book.

I Loved it!!!

This book was great from beginning to end. Michael did a great job with the narration.
I loved how Julien had such a great support system in place.
I'm hoping for a book with Alias and Nicky!
