A bit disappointed

Thought when it said African American, It was both of the main characters. Can’t help but think of events in the past and be a bit perturbed with this book’s storyline. Hope the next book holds true. Narrators did a great job.

Dragon, the prez of Savage Brothers meets Nicole, who apparently comes from rich home (why that was necessary, I’ll never know.) meet at a gas station and it’s over for him.

I liked that the prez of this MC was a man of color but I didn’t like Nicole’s character at all… she was better than others I’ve read recently but who finds it funny when everyone is kicked out of things? She had no self preservation which I think is becoming a thing with all the female characters in smutty books… we don’t get someone closer to reality…

Anyway,
The story gives us a bit of a background of the MC what happened… the push and pull of Dragon & Nicole… we meet other side characters (I’m thinking will have their books also) who sound more decent than Nicole, fingers crossed,

All in all, it was a good story. I did stop and listened to others then came back to finish but still… it was good. If you like MCs and the drama you might enjoy this story…

What was interesting/a little weird was the names for the “club girls” twinkies was new for me lol a few new things but I figure these are different in different areas?

Give it a try, you might enjoy it…

worth waiting for...absolutely loved the audible version of one of my all time favorite books!!! the actors brought out goose bumps on scenes that had me sobbing the first time I read this book. I felt it was everything I had hoped for and more!!!

Breaking Dragon

Let me say, I'm obsessed with this book! I read over and over a lot, I can't get enough of it. After a while I stalked the author about doing an audio. I mean a book this good couldn't be just a book, it has to be available on audio too. When the audio drop, I was over the moon, I started listening to it right away. I stopped in the middle of it multiple times because I didn't want to finish it too fast. The narrators did an amazing job and the author? Well I don't need to say more, I'm absolutely obsessed with her. This was a phenomenal job well done all across the board.
