A real barn burner!

Could not wait to get to next chapter! This series will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Two writers

I figured there were two writers, the father who came up with a good story and a 15 year old son who wrote the dialogue.
Does anyone really talk like this. Too bad the narrators sounds like reads to us like we are 3rd graders. Oh, yes, how many times does one woman have to trip and fall when running away.

Loved

I loved this book and series by Derek Shupert. I also loved all the characters. I can’t wait for the next book by this author. I would recommend this book and all of this Derek’s books. I listened to this book on audiobook.

Juvenile

This book has a great storyline. The writing is pretty good ….better than some, not as good as others. It’s interesting enough that I listened to the whole thing. However, throughout the reading, all I could think of is that the narrator made all the women sound like “Leave it to Beaver‘s” mother. So juvenile. So sing-song and unrealistic. His voice is good, but he makes the characters sound silly. I was thinking it should be a teenage book not an adult book. If Jay Snyder had narrated these books, it would have been much better.
