Cool world but characters not my style

No problems with narrator, I just didn’t really like the drawn out, dramatic dialogue. I thought the world was cool & I overall enjoyed the book but a lot of dialogue-heavy scenes were very boring to me…I am someone who re-listens to books but I probably won’t re-listen to this or continue the series.

Make it Make Sense

As the alpha he just kills everyone and let's every get killed protecting her rather than teacher her to fight and keeping her home.

They have money. Where is the security? Why is she still working at the bar. She has money. What she brings to the table doesn't seem like enough to be sought after so high. The steaks are not high enough for all of this.

Where are the pack politics?
Why is she such a brat?

I was excited to listen to this book, however, by the tenth chapter I wanted to strangle to FL. Yes I know her character has been damaged but she was extremely annoying and rude and back and forth about her feelings. I will not be continuing the series. I did enjoy all the other characters of the story and wished for a better character for the ML.

The story line kept me wanting to hear more , I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the series

A good listen

A great book, drew me in right away to the life of these werewolves. Kept me going, always wanting to know what would come next. Will definitely keep going with the series.
